New college & career readiness courses start in March
Registration
is open for the next round of Iowa College and Career Readiness Academy
courses, beginning March 11 and running through early May. These
courses allow college access professionals—including high school
counselors and administrators—to earn continuing education credit and/or
professional certification. Course offerings:
101: FOUNDATIONS OF COLLEGE AND CAREER READINESS IN IOWA

- Prerequisite: 101

301: SYSTEMS AND OPTIMIZATION
- Prerequisites: 101 and 201
- Register here
401: PLANNING AND THE SCHOOL COUNSELOR'S ROLE IN ICAP ADVISING
- Prerequisite: 101
- Register here
Note that 301 and 401 are being offered for the first time this spring.
Iowa
College Aid offers this continuing education program in partnership
with AEA Iowa, the Iowa Department of Education and the Iowa School
Counselor Association.
